โดยใน firmware v1.1 นี้ มีการปรับปรุงอยู่ด้วยกัน 4 จุด

Improvements
* Improved Auto Focus performance in [AFC] mode.
* Improved Auto Focus performance in Motion Picture recording.
      -Please note that Auto Focus in [FHD] does not work.
* Improved the stability of O.I.S. in Motion Picture recording. (except [FHD] mode)
* Decreased the operation noise of the aperture in Motion Picture recording. (except [FHD] mode)

OLYMPUS PEN EE (1961)
With the Olympus Pen EE, the emphasis was on efficiency. Features included fixed focus, a shutter speed of 1/60 sec., and automatic exposure adjustment. Anyone could take beautiful photographs simply by pushing the button. The camera was priced at ¥10,000 yen. Olympus eventually introduced eight models in the Olympus Pen EE series, which became a driving force for the popularity of the Pen cameras.

OLYMPUS PEN (1959)
The first-generation Olympus Pen camera appeared in 1959. The design process began with the concept of creating a camera that could be sold for ¥6,000 yen. The Pen combined the superb photographic performance of the D-Zuiko lens with excellent portability, and it was also used by professional photographers as a secondary camera.

OLYMPUS ได้ปล่อย Firmware เวอร์ชั่นใหม่สำหรับเลนส์ของกล้อง D-SLR
ซึ่งคราวนี้ปล่อยออกมาแก้กันถึง 4 ตัวเลยทีเดียว โดยเลนส์ที่มีการอัพเดต firmware
ก็มีรุ่นตามข้างล่างนี้

ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 8mm F3.5 Fisheye - v1.1
ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 18-180mm F3.5-6.3 - v1.2
ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 70-300mm F4.0-5.6 - v1.3
ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 90-250mm F2.8 - v1.2

โดยเลนส์ทั้ง 4 ตัวนี้จะมีการแก้ไขจุดเดียวกันเพียงแค่จุดเดียว คือ
การแก้ปัญหาความไม่เสถียรเวลาถ่าย sequence ขณะใช้โหมด C-AF บน E-3 และ E-30

Improvement
- Resolved unstable sequential shooting when using C-AF on the E-3 and E-30.
